About me

I’m a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan, where I also obtained my Ph.D. degree. I’m working in the Computational Fluid Dynamics Group (CFDG) under the supervision of Professor Krzysztof Fidkowski.

My research interests lie in the general area of high order adaptive methods for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), specifically in output-based error estimation and mesh adaptation, as well as their applications in aerospace engineering problems.

In the coming WCCM conference, I will present our research in adaptive aerodynamic simulations using convolutional neural networks. The presented slides can be found here.

We just had a paper accepted by Journal of Computational Physics, which applies machine learning techniques into anisotropic mesh adaptation. The full-text is available here.

I defended my dissertation in this past summer, checkout the full-text of my thesis here!
